WEDDING VOWS

Wedding vows are promises a couple make to each other during a wedding ceremony. Most wedding vows are still taken from traditional religious ceremonies.

Traditional vows include: "for richer or for poorer", "in sickness and in health", "as long as we both shall live", "until death do us part" and others.

Touching love poems or lyrics from a love song are often used as wedding vows. Some couples will choose to write their own vows.
