HOOVER DAM

The Hoover Dam was built by the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation from 1931 to 1936. The dam is named after former President "Herbert Hoover".

The construction cost of the Hoover Dam was $49 million and it was completed two years ahead of time. The Hopover is located on the borders of Nevada and Arizona.

There were about 16,000 workers on the project and officially "96" fatalities. The dam contains around 4,360,000 cubic yards of concrete.
