The origins of the Tibetan Spaniel may be traced to the Himalayan mountains of Tibet over 2,000 years ago.
The Tibetan Spaniels were owned by Buddhist monks and lamas.
This dog is very devoted to their family and will choose one member out as their favorite.
They are however aloof with strangers.
The Tibetan Spaniel loves heights and enjoy any high lookout such as a window.
They have a double coat with a soft undercoat for warmth and a moderately long, silky outercoat.
