Chisakatana Sword

A Chisa Katana Sword is eighteen to twenty-four inches long. It is in fact a shortened Katana Sword, but does not include a companion blade. The word, Chisa, means short.

The chisa katana sword could be used with either one or two hands. The hilt is usually around ten to eleven inches in length.

Chisa Katana were most commonly made in the Buke-Zukuri mounting. They were not a common sword.
