BAD CAMPING PLACES

Dont camp too close to water. Heavy rainfall may cause flash floods. Insect problems close to water.

Check around to make sure you dont camp near a bee or hornet nest.

Stay away from solitary trees which attract lightning.

Dont camp on exposed hilltops.

Deep hollows are more prone to frost at night.

Stay away from spurs which lead down to water as they are often animal routes.
