Jimmy Connors was born September 2, 1952, East St. Louis, Ill., U.S.
At one stage Connors had studied under the great Pancho Gonzalez.
Connors was the No.1 player in world 5 times from 1974 to 78.
He won a record 125 singles titles.
Jimmy won 5 U.S. Opens, 1 Australian Open and 2 Wimbledons.
