Often referred to as the "Sheltie" this dog originated in the Shetland Islands off the north coast of Scotland.
This dog is a very obedient and is easy to train with a strong will to please.
They make excellant dogs for both adults and children.
The Shetland Sheepdog has a double coat that requires regular attention to keep it in good order.
This dog should not be kept around people who argue or shout as it tends to react badly to this enviroment.
They also have no car sense.
