36th president of the United States.

Served as President 1908 to 1973.

Born: August 27, 1908, central Texas.

Married Claudia "Lady Bird" Taylor, in 1934.

During World War II he served in the Navy.

Served six terms in the House, then elected to the Senate in 1948.

November 22, 1963: succeeded to become President after Kennedy was assassinated.

Died on January 22, 1973.
