PREGNANCY INFORMATION

Pregnancy is the carrying of one or more embryos or fetuses by a female inside their bodies. Pregnancy lasts 38 weeks from fertilisation. Pregnancy begins at implantation. A pregnant woman in medical terms is a genetalian. A woman with a first time pregnancy is known as a primigravida.

There are three Trimester Periods during a Pregnancy:
First trimester : up to 14 weeks of gestation.
Second trimester : 14 to 28 weeks of gestation.
Third trimester : 28 weeks to delivery.
