The Fell Pony is a versatile, working breed of mountain and moorland pony which originates from the North of England.

Identifying Features : Small head, long neck, sloping shoulders, compact body, muscled quarters, strong legs, hard feet.
Descended from the Friesians and brought to England by the Romans.
