BALI PONY

The Bali pony is an ancient breed now living on the Indonesian island of Bali. Its roots are unknown, although one theory is that ponies of ancient stock were brought from to Indonesia by the Chinese in the 6th century.

Use : Pack.

Height : 12 - 13 hh.

Colours : Dun with dark points and dorsal stripe.

Identifying Features : Light frame, short neck, slender legs, hard feet.

Tough horse that can live in a harsh climate. Their strength has also made them a popular mount for trekking and sightseeing tourists.
