Noriyuki "Pat" Morita (June 28, 1932 - November 24, 2005) was an American Academy Award-nominated actor who was probably best known for playing the roles of Arnold on the TV show Happy Days and Mr. Miyagi in the The Karate Kid movie tetralogy, for which he was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in 1984.
Noriyuki "Pat" Morita was born on June 28, 1932 in Isleton, California.
Pat graduated from the Armijo High School in Fairfield, California.
He worked for awhile at the Aerojet-General.
Morita quit and became a stand-up comedian.
Morita became known around the world for his part of Arnold during the T.V. comedy show Happy Days.
In 1984, Pat was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his part in "The Karate Kid" movie.
Morita also made appearences in "the odd couple", "green acres" and "thoroughly modern millie".
Pat Morita died November 24, 2005.
