During WW 11, Audrey was trapped in German occupied Arnhem, Holland.
After the war, Audrey moved to London on a ballet scholarship.
Hepburn was best known for her films such as Breakfast at Tiffany's, Roman Holiday and My Fair Lady.
During the last years of her life, Audrey worked as a special goodwill ambassador for the United Nations Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF).
Hepburn was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1992, by George Bush.
Audrey Hepburn died on January 20, 1993, in Tolchenaz, Switzerland.
