Dean Martin was born (Dino Paul Crocetti), on June 7, 1917, in Steubenville, Ohio, USA.
Martin worked at a steel mill, was also an amateur boxer called "Kid Crochet".
Dean a nose job and changed his name to Dean Martin.
At 17, Martin made his first public debut singing "Oh Marie".
Martin had his first single was "Which Way Did My Heart Go".
Appeared at the 500 Club in Atlantic City and met comedian Jerry Lewis.
They formed a succesful Duo, and made their first film together "My Friend Irma" in 1949.
Dean's first solo movie was "Ten Thousand Bedrooms".
From 1965-74 Martin hosted a variety and comedy show called "The Dean Martin Show".
Dean Martin died December 25, 1995.
In all, Dean appeared in fifty-one films.
Martin also married three times.
He had eight children, one was by adoption.
