Dog on the Tuckerbox

The Dog on the Tuckerbox historical monument is located at Snake Gully, New South Wales, Australia. The Dog on the Tuckerbox statue was sculpted by local stonemason Frank Rusconi.

The Statue was built as a tribute to the early pioneers. On 28 November, 1932, it was unveiled by Prime Minister of Australia, Joseph Lyons.

The inscription on the base of the monument was written by Brian Fitzpatrick. Since 1992, an annual Dog on the Tuckerbox festival has been held each year.
