Bax has had various roles in film, with appearances in 1999's Storm Catcher and The Big Tease. She also appeared in the 2000 comedy, We Married Margo, as well as Jill Rips that same year.
She then moved on to teen films, with a role as a Victoria's Secret supermodel in the romantic comedy Boys and Girls, along with fellow models Ines Rivero and Kristy Hinze.
