ROMANTIC NEW YEARS EVE

I had such a wonderful night with my sweetie, I just had to share it. He called me from London shortly before midnight his time (I'm in Colorado). I was watching the news on television, and they were showing extensive live footage from London. So in a way, it felt like I was there, because I was getting to see what he was seeing. Later on when he got home (around 4am his time), he called me just to let me know he'd gotten home okay.

Then he called me just before midnight my time (7am his time...poor thing!). I counted down the seconds, and exactly at midnight we "kissed." It felt so incredibly magical. 30 years from now when people say, "Where were you on the millennium?" I know I will remember that moment.
