THE MANGER

Jesus was not born in Bethlehem. He was in fact born in a building which was about one kilometre south of the Qumran plateau.

The temple scroll clealy indicates that it was reqiured to have such a place outside the city. In the copper scroll it is reffered to as the queens house.

It was called the Queens house because the wife of the potential king David was the most superior women there. In the monastic phase it was also known as the "manger".
