PAKISTAN WOMEN TOLD NOT TO LAUGH

Women to cover their heads, dress simply and refrain from laughing loudly outside their homes.

Human rights groups have criticised the treatment of women by Pakistans police force. The police force has been accused of failing to register cases of rape, murder and domestic violence against women.

In fact the police accuse the female victims of being to blame. Hundreds of women are in jail in Pakistan because they filed charges of rape.

This is because after they filed charges they were accused by their attackers of willingly having sex outside marriage, a crime in Islamic Pakistan.
