NANKING, THE RAPE OF 80,000 WOMEN

Between December 1937 and March 1938 at least 369,366 Chinese civilians and prisoners of war were slaughtered by the invading Japanese troops.

An estimated 80,000 women and girls were raped.

Many of them were then mutilated or murdered.

Thousands of victims were beheaded, burned, bayoneted, buried alive, or disemboweled.

To this day the Japanese government has refused to apologize for these and other World War II atrocities.

Many of the victims were gang raped and then killed.

Many were disemboweled and left to die.

Some Japanese soldiers cut off the breasts of their victims, then nailed the women alive to walls.

Sometimes they would sticks wooden sticks, reed pipe or carrots into their lower body and stir, until they were dead, while Japanese soldiers claped their hands and loudly laughed alongside. The Comfort Women : Japan's Brutal Regime of Enforced Prostitution in the Second World War
