The Trakehner Horse is the purest of the warmblood breeds. This is due to the fact that it is the only warmblood breed that has a closed stud book.

Colours : All solid colours.

Identifying Features : Expressive head, long neck, promininent withers, deep chest, strong back, rounded hindquarters, hard feet.

Also known as the East Prussian.

Good temperament, brave and strong stamina.

Developed by the Teutonic Knights in the 13th century.
