The Tersky H orse was developed at the Tersk and Stavropol Studs in Russia. The Tersky horse is noted for their endurance. Several horses were entered in a 192 mile ride and every Tersky finished in good condition and time.

Identifying Features : Straight profile, deep chest, strong hindquarters, hard legs, high set tail.

Russian horse developed early 20th century steeple chasing.

Good gentle temperament.
