The Swedish Warmblood Horse was developed in Sweden in the Stromholm stud in 1621.
In 1928, the Swedish Warmblood Association (SWA) was founded.

Colours : All solid colours.
Identifying Features : Small neat head, straight neck, compact body, straight back, rounded quarters, strong legs, short cannons.
First bred in the 17th century as a cavalry horse.
Today, it is a excellent competitor at dressage, jumping and eventing.
