AMERICAN SADDLEBRED HORSE

The American Saddlebred Horse was originally developed in Kentucky by plantation owners. They are also used as barrel racers, hunters, jumpers, and parade mounts.

Use : Riding, showing.

Height : 15 - 16 hh.

Colours : Mostly solid colours.

Identifying Features : Small head, arched back, wide nostrils, short strong body, slim clean legs, high tail carriage.

Use to be called the Kentucky Saddler.
