The Maremmano Horse is bred in Tuscany. They are the traditional mounts of buttero, or Maremma cattle men.

Use : Saddle, light draught.

Height : 15 - 15.3 hh.

Colours : All solid colours.

Identifying Features : Plain, honest conformation.

Used by the Italian police for mounted work.

Also used as a cow pony.
