DON HORSE

The Don Horse gets its name from the steppes region of Russia where the Don River flows. The Don Horse is well-known for the military campaigns of 1812-1814, when the Cossacks drove Napoleon's troops from Russia.

Use : Saddle, harness, racing.

Height : 15.2 - 16.2.

Colours : Bay, chestnut, grey.

Identifying Features : Plain head, long neck, broad back, strong hinquarters, short straigh shoulders, hard legs.
