The Cob refers to any horse between 14 and 15 hh, stocky and strongly built, with the exception of the Welsh Cob.

The Cob should be compact and placid.

They should provide a comfortable ride.

The Cob should also be a strong all-rounder.

The Cob is traditionally shown with a hogged mane.
