BAVARIAN WARMBLOOD

The old Bavarian "Rottaler" breed was used to form the Bavarian warmblood. The Bavarian warmblood has been registered as separate breed since 1963.

Use : Riding, light draught, carriage.

Height : 15.2 - 16.2 hh.

Colours : All solid colours, chestnut.

Identifying Features : Short head, upright neck, strong body, low set tail, slender legs, sound feet.

The Bavarian Horse originated in the 10th century.

Not a fast horse.

Excellent at jumpage and dressage.
