The Comtois Horse is a Draught horse. The Comtois horse originated in the Jura Mountains on the border between France and Switzerland.

Height : 14.3 - 15.3 hh.

Colours : Chestnut, bay.

Identifying Features : Large head, blunt nose, compact body, short back, short stocky legs, short full mane and tail.

Works in forests, vineyards and mountains.

Sure footed. These are hardy horses that can live to an old age, and are good-natured as well as easy to train. Comtois are also hard working horses.
