HAYFEVER

Hayfever is usually caused by inhaled allergens such as grass, weed, or tree pollens, but dust, dust mites, animal fur and even some foods may be responsible. While hayfever is difficult to avoid allergens there are several stratergies to be considered when treating hayfever.

Keep the home well ventalated with fresh air. Use a negative ion generator to help with hayfever.

Use dust proof covers on pillows and mattresses. Vitamin C, bioflavonoids, garlic, horseradish, and gingko biloba will all help.

If the sinuses become infected Echinacea is the herb of choice. Gingko Biloba can inhibit the release of allergy mediators from immune cells such as mast cells.
