HAIR CUTTING

Although there is no set time as to how often your hair should be cut going to the hairdresser at least once every 6 to 8 weeks will keep your hair looking fresh. Regular trims will also help to prevent split ends.

If you are considering a change of style you will need to take into account your face shape and hair texture. There are no set rules but the following may help.

If you have round facial features you should avoid a mass of curls as this will only accentuate the roundness. You should balance your roundness with a style that gives height at the crown or mabye a short fringe.

If you have square facial features you may try longer styles with layers and a side parting. You should try and avoid heavy fringes and a centre part.

Experts regard the oval face as the ideal.

For people with long faces avoid straight, one length cuts. Try cuts with short layers or mabye a bob with a fringe.
