Zeus was also the Sky God, God of rain and storms, and chief of the twelve Gods.

As ruler of Olympus he settled quarrels between fellow Dieties.

Zeus was also the protector of the state of Athens.

He also sent down rains from the heaven for the crops.

Zeus was also famous for his sexual exploits.

He was in fact married seven times.

The main Oracle of Zeus was at Dondana where a sacred Oak tree rustled in the wind to pass on the words of Zeus.
