HERMES

Hermes was the messenger of the Gods, guide of dead souls to Hades, and patron of travellers and thieves.

He was the son of Zeus and Maia.

He was also the father of many different children by many different mothers.

His symbols were winged sandles and hat.

Hermes was very cunning, and this showed from birth.

When just a few hours old, he stole cattle from Apollo.
