They are usually hound dogs such as Bassets or Beagles.
These packs are found in legends all over Europe.
Ghostly hounds are said to be omens of death.
In fact it is enough just to hear their ghostly howling.
The most dangerous of these packs is the Devils Dandy Dogs which roam around Cornwell.
These ghost dogs take on no form of any particular breed.
