FIELD SPANIEL

The origins of the Field Spaniel may be traced to England during the latter half of the 19th century. There were a number of Spaniel types and it was the solid dogs over 25 pounds that retained the name Field Spaniel.

The Field Spaniel is a very friendly dog that is loving and eager to please. They are also excellent with children.

One thing about the Field Spaniel is they love water. They also like to carry objects around in their mouths.

Be warned that they tend to snore. The Field Spaniel is about 17 to 20 inches in height weighing from 40 to 50 pounds.
