Pauline Trigere was born in 1909, in France.
Her mother was a tailor, so at a young age Pauline learnt to sew.
Trigere found work as a trainee cutter at Martial et Armand in Paris.
But at age 25, Trigere moved to New York.
Here she found work at Ben Gerschel, and then later at Hattie Carnegie.
Trigere opened her own fashion house in 1942.
Pauline started producing ready-to-wear lines, and then later produced costume jewel.
Pauline Trigère died in 2002.
