Anna Sui was born in Detroit, Michigan, in 1964.
After Graduation, Anna moved to New York City and attended the Parsons School of Design.
Sui then went on to work for a number of junior sportswear companies.
Anna Sui launched her first runway show in 1991.
In 1992, Anna opened her first boutique shop in New York City's Soho District.
In 1997, Sui opened in Tokyo her first freestanding boutique.
These days, Anna Sui has become one of Japans top fashion brands.
Sui launched her signature fragrance and cosmetic line in 1999.
The Anna Sui collection is sold in more then 50 countries around the world.
