Cynthia Rowley Biography

Cynthia Rowley is a well known Fashion Designer that was born in 1959, in Barrington, Illinois. Rowley attended Barrington High School in Barrington, Illinois, and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

She started designing in her childhood. These days, the Cynthia Rowley boutiques are across the United States and Japan.

Cynthia was awarded the New Fashion Talent Award from the Council of Fashion Designers of America. The Rowley collection includes: jeans, shoes, hosiery, umbrellas, handbags, leather goods and more.

Rowley is the co-author of the Swell books and co-creator of Swell-related television programs. She also appeared as a judge on the reality televison programs Project Runway and Design Star.
