Robert Piguet

Robert Piguet was born in 1901 in Yverdon, Switzerland. In 1918, Robert immigrated to France.

From 1918 to 1928, Piguet studied fashion design under Redfern and Paul Poiret.

In 1933, Piguet founded his own salon. The salon went on to hire many famous designers including: Marc Bohan, Antonio Castillo, Christian Dior, James Galanos and Hubert Givenchy.

In 1944, he introduced his perfume, Bandit.

Piguet retired in 1951. Robert Piguet passed away in 1953.
