Mollie Parnis was (born, Sara Rosen Parnis) in 1902 in New York.
In her early years Mollie studied law at Hunter College, New York.
Parnis worked in sales for a blouse manufacturer, then as stylist for David Westheim Company, New York.
In 1933, Mollie and her husband founded their own business, Parnis-Livingston.
During the 1940s, Mollie launched own label.
In 1979, she released the Mollie Parnis Studio Collection of ready-to-wear.
In 1984, her salon closed, but reopened again in 1985 with an At-Home division.
Mollie Parnis passed away 18 July 1992, in New York.
