Emmanuelle Khanh was born (Renée Meziére) in 1937, in Paris France.
From 1957 to 1963, Emmanuelle worked as a model for Balenciaga and later Givenchy fashion house.
Khanh started drawing and making her own designs with some appearing in Elle fashion magazine.
The magazine IT carried an article about Khanh in 1960.
In 1962, Emmanuelle Khanh joined with Christiane Bailly, to design their own label, Emmachristie.
Khanh finally released clothing under her own name in 1982.
Then in 1987, she created Emmanuelle Khanh International.
In 1989, Emmanuelle Khanh was awarded the Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres, Paris.
