Luciano Soprani was born in Reggiolo, Italy in 1946. He originally studied agriculture.

Joined Maxmara in 1967.

In 1975, Luciano Soprani became a freelance designer.

Luciano Soprani designed for Basile, Gucci and others.

Displayed his first collection under his own name in 1982. He passed away in 1999.
