Alberto Fabiani was born in Tivoli, Italy.
When he was 18, Fabiani become an apprentice with a Parisian tailor.
Later, Fabiani returned to Italy where he worked in the family run fashion house.
Fabiani is considered to be part of the designers who led the Italian renaissance during the 1950s.
In 1961, Fabiani opened a joint house in Paris with his fashion designer wife, Simonetta.
Fabiani retired in 1974.
