Champion skier Willy Bogner and his wife Maria, set up a company to produce colorful and imaginative skiwear in 1932.
Bogner, Sr. was an eleven-time German and five-time nordic skiing champion.
He outfitted the German national ski team at the 1936 Winter Olympics.
In 1977 the company was appointed "official outfitter" for the German golf team.
Later, Willy Bogner Jr. took over control of the company.
These days the company also sells a range of women's ready-to-wear.
