Elspeth Gibson was born in 1964 in England.
Gibson attended and graduated from the Nottinghamshire College of Design.
After her studies, Elspeth worked for Zandra Rhodes, Selfridges, Monix and Top Label.
In 1974, Gibson founded her own label.
In 1998, Elspeth made her catwalk debut at the London Fashion Week.
In 1998, Gibson won the Now Generation Designer of the Year at the British Fashion awards.
In 1999, she won the Best British Designer at the Elle Style Awards.
A number of designs by Elspeth Gibson are on display at the Victoria and Albert Museum Costume collection.
