Maud Frizon was born (Nadine Frizon), in 1941, in Paris, France.
Frizon started her early career as a Model in the 1960s, for designers such as Nina Ricci.
Maud opened her first shoe boutique in the St. Germain des Pres district of Paris, in 1969.
Frizon shoes were showy and extravagant, and proved an early success.
Her shoes were released under the brands, Maud Frizon and Miss Maud.
Frizon also designed footwear for Azzedine Alaia, Missoni and Sonia Rykiel.
In 1999, Frizon and her husband, De Marco, sold the company and its brands.
