Elio Fiorucci

Elio Fiorucci was born in 1935 in Milan, Italy. Elio inherited his fathers shoe store in 1962.

Fiorucci soon started traveling to London and returning with mini-skirts and other fashion. By 1967, Elio had opened a larger store. He soon expanded around the world.

Elio chose the two-angel Logo in 1970 which has become the famous world known sign of Fiorucci.

Fiorucci opened his first New York store in 1975. Fiorucci manufactured Jeans for Jean Paul Gaultier and Vivienne Westwood lines from 1987 to 1989.

Elio Fiorucci is credited with the designer denim concept.
