Nicole Farhi

Nicole Farhi was born in Nice, France in 1946. Farhi studied fashion at the Studio Bercot in Paris.

Nicole started her career as a freelance designer in Paris for Agnes B, Pierre D'Alby and Jean-Charles de Castelbajac. In 1973, She then moved to London to work with Stephen Marks on his French Connection label.

In 1983, Farhi launched her own fashion label, "Nicole Farhi". It has grown to shops worldwide, as well as restaurants in London and New York.

In 1989, Farhi was awarded the "classic" award at the British Fashion awards.

In 1994, the Nicole Farhi flagship store opened in London. In 1995, she opened a menswear store in Covent Garden.
