Antonio Castillo was born 1908 in Madrid, Spain.
Castillo attended the Colegio del Pilar in Madrid, at the University of Madrid and at El Sacro Monte in Granada.
When the Spanish Civil War started, Antonio left Spain for France.
Castillo designed for Chanel, as well as the houses of Paquin and Piguet.
Antonio then joined Elizabeth Arden in New York and designed there till 1950.
Castillo then returned to Paris and joined the House of Lanvin.
By 1964, Castillo had founded his own House.
Most of his designs tended to reflect his Spanish heritage.
Antonio Castillo passed away in 1984.
