Joe Caseley-Hayford

Joe Casely-Hayford was born in 1956 in Ghana. At an early age his family moved to England where he later took up work as an apprentice to a Savile Row tailor.

In 1974, Joe started studying at the Tailor and Cutter Academy. Then in 1975, he joined Central St. Martin's School of Art.

Casely-Hayford soon became known in the music industry as a fashion designer for rock groups. In 1984, Joe founded his own label for menswear. The following year he expanded into womenswear.

Casely-Hayford designed the clothing for U2 for their world tour in 1992.

Other high-profile clients include Tori Amos, Liam Gallagher, Lou Reed and Mica Paris.
